yeah, i kind of conflated the post-2020 changes with the allegations that NY Dems were out to get Bowman

Now Bowman still ran and won a primary in 2022, so I don’t think “gerrymandering” is a determinative excuse—if he won once he could’ve won again!—but the terrain was certainly disadvantageous for the strategy he took
