Plus, it would be incredibly easy for a president abusing that power to also just instruct DOJ to concoct a sham investigation to justify your arrest.

But wouldn't that leave an incriminating paper trail? Oh wait, this court has made it incredibly difficult to allow something like that as evidence in cases where immunity might be at issue!
