This is EXACTLY my journey. Every previous time people said he was gonna look old and doddering he was good, better than that even. I assumed it was gonna be exactly the same, but it wasn't just bad, it was worse than my lowest expectations. it felt like a knife I didn't see it coming.

I kind of think it's too bad that people don't see this as a success story for an independent fed. When they raised the rates, a lot of people on the left said the fed targets were crazy,but it's basically done everything they wanted. Inflation is way down,unemployment ticked up a half a percent.

Something about having kids, particularly in the winter, is you are sometimes DESPERATE to take them somewhere. You keep an eye out for new exhibits at museums or winter festivals. I don't think I would have fallen for this specifically but I can see how a parent might if they weren't careful.

I had a conversation with a relative recently who is opposed to immigration because high cost of housing. That immigrants are taking up all the places to live basically. Caught me off guard at the time, but I wonder how widespread this is, since rents have never been higher.
