That’s fair! I like the freaky goth aesthetic personally. But I would consider MIW vocals scratchy, there’s definitely some inflections and ranges he gets to that are unique, I would also say they’re a little heavier than Manson and actually get into some screaming n that.

Yeah Marilyn came to mind for me too when o read the first post. I still like some of his songs but I’ll watch lyric vids by YouTubers that aren’t him or something so I don’t give him views that YouTube pays for. Certainly never gonna buy another cd or merch or concert tickets etc.

It’s happened to me a number of times :/ it’s always upsetting, a feeling of betrayal almost but then I realize I’ve put far too much trust in some random bigwig I never knew and remember to kill my idols. I may even enjoy their work still and just refuse to promote them or fund them.
