He's way more progressive about it than most of his acolytes though, and supports gay/trans people in his framework of them having "masculine or feminine energies". I know some queer people who found some of his work validating at the time. He has been around for decades.

I think it really depends on the baseline the reader is coming from. Even if someone would be improved by stuff like this, I don’t think it really leaves them in a good place.
