I remember when ad blockers really came into power and web designers really cut back on how intrusive the ads were, now we're almost back to the worst of like 1999

I am a web developer and I HATE IT. Clients complainin about speed & visitor metrics and want to stuff more ads and sponsored content on the page and then complain about metrics again.
