Restrictions on reselling cars with limited production runs or wait lists isn’t uncommon. But it’s usually because manufacturers don’t want people buying them just to flip them for a markup. It’s funny in this case because everyone’s trying to unload the turd they paid $100k for.

I had to work on a print layout today and decided to give Affinity Publisher a try and it was like... actually really great to use. The workflows were all pretty much the same and the UI felt more responsive than InDesign on my machine.

When NYC had a mask ban before covid, the NYPD would come up to us at a protest and tell us to remove our masks or they'd arrest us. We'd take the masks off, and then the police and the fash would take our pictures. They never really cared if we put the mask back on after.

You’re talking about manufactures abusing CAFE standards to classify cars as “light trucks” so they’re subject to different fuel efficiency and emissions requirements. Building rated recovery points into an off road vehicle is “standard design practice” because it’s a good idea, not a legal issue.

People were bidding $1000 for copies of a CD that someone was going to buy at the store on the release date and mail it to you week after all your friends had it.

Right; sorry I meant like.. for the 80% highway part. I’m mostly in the Adirondacks, but even in Maine or New Brunswick I’m never more than a few hours from electricity. Eventually they’ll have jerry cans for EVs
