i'd be really interested to see if you could knock out that spring/summer peak by doing boosters every 6 months rather than yearly (anecdotally, i've had it twice, once in May 2023 and once in June 2024 - never in winter)

An epi modeller I know found that waves in the 1918 flu could be entirely explained by people being more cautious when numbers are high, and less cautious when numbers are low. Include that in the model and you get waves. Don't include it and you can't.
