About halfway through, Ed hits on a point that I've been hammering on since the AI boom started: why should anyone care about this? There is no reason for the average consumer to adopt this technology.
I mean, I was briefly horrified/enchanted by its apparently limitless potential for uncanny valley, surreal humor-to-total horror art. The person who got Eldritch-O's cereal out of it: fun!
but yeah, I'm done now.
And, like. I'm not a tech guy. But I *am* in marketing and it is super clear that marketers have NO IDEA how to promote this technology to and average user.
A few rich people wasting an absurd amount of money and consuming all the energy, to try and force us all to use a thing that literally no one wants or cares about.
