...regardless of what the races are or if they don't seem to matter, because they very much do. Vote for the candidate you want, or vote in order to prevent the worst candidate from taking office; both are valid and important reasons to vote. (5/)

Voting is often as much about harm reduction as it is about improving things. And the whole point of democracy is that if your viewpoint does not succeed this time, there's always next time. (6/)
