Then I attended a community meeting with my State Rep and City Alderperson, who live in the neighborhoods adjacent to mine (I could walk over-knock on their doors) And they acted dejected when I asked about bans on care for minors to pass into law, and what the plan was to reverse it…

And the Rep looked me in the eye and said they were powerless to stop it. He couldn’t articulate a plan, because he didn’t have one. I had to remind him what the acronym MONA stood for 🔗👀👆My alder woman gave me a hug, because I was in tears by the end of my Rep’s answer …
