I can site numerous reports on American television and online media, where it’s just story of after story of another arms shipment, of tactical assistance, of anything else the Israelis have wanted with only a few “wait a moment“ comments from our officials.

Here the focus of the media is more on the administration’s futile attempts to box Netanyahu in to get him to stop. Again, I don’t agree with the support for Israel, but the blame for the bombing lies squarely on Bibis shoulders.

From where I am it’s a slightly different picture. Our media are not banging the steadfast ally drum quite as hard. We can see a marked difference in the US’s attitude towards the Netanyahu regime. I agree it’s still far too little. An embargo and sanctions would be more fitting.
