I am of the unpopular opinion that it might already be too late. Doesn't mean I'm not going to vote (Democratic), but there are too many factors. Judicial, state legislation (gerrymandering), the entire GOP wanting fascism. I think we already passed the tipping point.

I fear the same thing. Republican institutional capture isn’t going away unless Democrats suddenly develop the spine to fix it, so defeating fascism at this point means keeping Republicans out of office in perpetuity, which is kind of a tall order.

I agree. The system is set up so that a corrupting presence can survive until it's strong enough to take the board. White supremacy knows the numbers are only getting worse for it, so it has to make a play sooner rather than later

I think it will ultimate come down to switch side the military falls on, and I honestly don't know the answer. If Biden wins the election, the violent uprising will dwarf January 6th, and if the military will support the coup then it is already lost.

I'm with you. It is absolutely already too late & even if the Dems win, they have shown that they will choose $ & power over actual meaningful change. They choose themselves over the people.
