This is where having QA/QC on staff is very useful, although many indies don't bring them in until the end. My partner has worked in it for 20 yrs. E says it's much easier & better to have some QA to catch issues earlier so they are big issues later

I disagree it means he's not up to the job. My mom is a 5 am wake up person. Usually in bed by 9 & always has been. However, if she NEEDS or wants to be awake longer for whatever reason, she can & functions fine. She used to work over night shifts as a prison guard

And not just a word, FDR pulled the country out of The Great Depression at that. He was a powerhouse. He also needed a wheel chair often, but didn't let the public see it often. He would walk & stand without an aid. My grandfather had polio as well & I remember what it took out of him to do that

At the time, our far right didn't have the numbers either, but it's something to be cautious of. Can't sit back and assume you've won. My partner is English. He is so happy to not have a Tory govt.

Absolutely, yes! I am someone who is guilty of this years ago. I thought I was "going for it like a boss" but, looking back on it, that's what I did to him. I apologized to him a few yrs after when I realized what I had done. He said he was flattered that a hot woman would pursue him like that.

I agree that the British system was very much a very well controlled caste system until about WW1, but this is a wild take. Yes, poor ppl left England because there was a hope of something better or different elsewhere, but that doesn't negate the fact that the 'better" was stolen from others

"potentially innocent" that's similar to what I was told about my rapist. Since rape happens behind closed doors usually w/o any direct evidence, most rapists get off w no consequences. He wasn't innocent.
