Word of the day: norms. These are culturally dependent and can change. Every culture has its stewards of homeostasis, that are oriented towards stability, and its champions of progress. Any champion that is successful in making advances knows how to engage its steady-seeking counterparts.

It's going to be a beautiful week. We have two promotions at Aiki Arts Center and I'll be starting most mornings at The Bar Method. The neighbors are hosting a potluck tomorrow, so we will be building community at home as well.

I went by the local bike shop to feed them strawberries, buy a shirt, and inquire about what team member changes the wall calendar. It was on the right month, so they are doing a wonderful job.

As leaders, we're responsible for maintaining an atmosphere of warmth and receptivity, while also taking charge of the direction. It's a delicate balance and Aiki Arts Center in the Bay Area is perfectly suited for this sort of practice.

It's a good week. Elise Youssoufian and Roger Foreman did awesome on their Aiki Arts Center promotions and we are getting ready for Ronn - 3rd kyu and November - 3rd kyu in the next few weeks. I'm at The Bar Method a lot, and we are getting sales at SCS Global Services.
