My kid wants to go to Vandy. I told her I'd put $100K into a Roth IRA, indexed to the S&P or NASDAQ, every year for 4 years (okay, 5, let's be honest). She'll be a freaking gazillionaire by the time she's 45. That'll help her pay for my nursing home. Win, win.
