I've always been baffled by the logic behind the (solstice-based) fact that the sun period gets shorter starting with the first day of summer (okay, 2nd day). I guess it's all about the tilt, but still, wth? Those people living on the equator have it figured out though, or so I've heard.

Florida resident here, who's also lived in 7 other states. It's the worst politically. Almost everyone I meet here thinks he's awesome. I guess they love authoritarianism. Supposedly term-limited, but the legislature will change that any day now.

Yes, this is somewhat worrisome. Would be totally worrisome if he could actually do it. An amendment cannot be abolished. It must be repealed by a new amendment. A new proposed amendment must be approved by a 2/3 majority of both House & Senate. That won't happen. The end. Now a coup....well...
