Is it like that for all writers? Because I often don't know where a story is going to go until I sit down and start writing it out. Even if I have a plot outline in my head, the characters need time to live and speak with each other to discover how far my plans will go off the rails.

56,600 words. I'm at the point where I think this whole thing is very stupid but it's too much fun to stop, so let's see where it goes. For the record, that's what led me to make 8-bit Theater and Atomic Robo, so maybe it's a good sign
