Yeah. Where I lived, there was no support network. There was an LGBT center but it was mostly gay kids. I met some trans people but they were 30+ years older than me. I didn't meet someone like us my age for ages. It's a lonely journey sometimes, isn't it?

for a long time the only other IRL trans person i knew was a trans man i worked and traveled with for work… who had JUST started HRT when we started working together. i was a while into HRT myself before i met any other trans women or trans people in general in anything more than in passing.
