Been trying to be forgiving of myself for a "bad" first draft. Remembering that this is just a blueprint - not a house - and no one's going to live in it. Sword Interval was on such a tight deadline that I really couldn't afford the time for more than a 2nd pass, and I need to unlearn that habit.

1. Ask/write down questions about hazy aspects of your story 2. Then, spend some of your down time in silence (commute, chores, shower) with those questions. 3. The brain hates unfinished tasks: it will allocate a lot of resources to solving plot holes, character relationships, pacing, etc.
