I’m of the opinion that if you’re going to spend too much money for a prestige-y car the least it could do is suck sometimes. Things like Lamborghinis being temperamental. Or dealing with Jaguar electrics. At some point, maybe around the Bugatti Veyron, super cars were expected to just work.

The Corvette becoming yet another mid-engine performance car made it faster but it also made it more boring. I completely lost interest in the line, except for that weird “Stealth mode” tiny battery thing in some versions, with the C8.
