In November, Israel arrested Mohammad Abu Salmiya on the claim that he facilitated the use of Al-Shifa as a "Hamas HQ". This was served to the west and Israeli public as justification for the storming and massacres in the hospital complex. After 7 months of torture, he was released without charges.

I think that in an environment where smears are thrown around reflexively, I need more to go on than a single article. Look, to the extent that that’s happening, it’s unfortunate. I agree. If they’re denying the Holocaust, that’s horrible, but in the months I’ve followed the account I personally haven’t seen it. What I was posting here is the sentiment they’re expressing. Do you have an issue with that sentiment?

It’s spelled Al Jazeera and the official death toll from the Israeli government is 1,139. For comparison, Israel killed 1,400 Palestinians in 2008-9 and 2,310 Palestinians in 2014. They’ve verifiably killed approximately 45,000 in Gaza so far, with many many more likely to be found after this ends.
