To be clear, spokes from the flange offset by two holes at the rim. Meaning, the lacing pattern is offset by one hole at the flange.

Here's a subtle one: Radial spokes should alternate exactly as the holes alternate. Instead, this wheel has spokes from one flange offset by two holes, so that the hub is being twisted by the spoke tension--and the pattern isn't radial. #BR

Ironically, while the Mavica FD-75 can focus very close, I like the look when shooting flowers using the longest focal length, where I can get at least a little bokeh. Underexposing helps the colors a little.

I never understood its design where the heads were in constant contact with the floppy-disk media, while it was spun for very long periods of time even without disk access. Those drives got HOT, too.

But the Mavica is so much fun to use--People are like WHAT IS THAT? I think the Mavica handles very much like a camcoder and the shutter lag is nearly non-existent. I'm certain it shares a lot of DNA with them, as well as using an actual camcorder battery!

The shitty Mavic FD-75 doesn't even have a "macro" mode--because its lens can focus at almost any distance, including Really Very Close. #ShittyCameraChallenge

It was actually a challenge not letting the lens housing cast a shadow on the flower!
