it was only some time later we found out that the person who'd been on the server was LB, though that did clarify exactly how she attracted so many people so quickly. so shutting it down was absolutely the right call.

i was also personally involved in a Laurelai Bailey plot. she infiltrated a Discord server i was in, under a false name, drew in a *ton* of strangers to a low-key project, and essentially took it over so rapidly the guy running it shut it down for fear of what they were really up to.
