Maybe he really wants to be a counsellor but accidentally entered the councillor race. Now that he entered, he is too embarrassed to withdraw and admit to his mistake. I predict he will accidentally get elected and then everyday he will regret his mistake more. Goodness I should pitch it as TV show.
