You mean "bigoted". French people don't care about race/skin color, they accept mostly only secular western culture. That is bigoted, but not racist.

Likewise, in the US, racism has been redefined to mean "race based systemic exclusionary bias". People who like that system may not be bigoted, they just like an economic status quo.
