Mask bans are strategies of oppression. The bans will first harm disabled, queer, and BIPOC communities. But it’ll cost the rest of you your health and freedom eventually. Disability justice is for everyone; we either die young or live long enough to become disabled. Resist the bans. Wear an n95.

Know here in Oz the Neo Nazis are now wearing masks but think I could easily tell the difference. I do have N95's too to wear on bus or hospital visits etc but like to colour coordinate when not getting anywhere close to many people.

A mask is a personal health decision. Makes it easier for folks w certain health problems to leave their homes. Its not anyone elses concern why someone chooses to mask. Let them be!

Mask bans are also used to target activists who tried to hide their identities from police during protests, prior to Covid-19 mask bans were enacted in response to Black Lives Matter protests. Masks are vital for safety for countless purposes! We need them now more than ever!

Illegal does not mean immoral. If they ban masks in my area, I’m still wearing one. Who’s going to enforce that outside of like protests? Bans are clearly to make Covid worse and to have another reason to lock up protesters

Want to mask up but lack resources? Mask blocs and covid action groups exist worldwide and can provide access to high quality n95-type masks. Some even send out free sampler packs to help you find the mask that fits best.
