One thing we don’t talk about is how lots of time abusers are more charismatic and fun to be around then people they abused, especially after the abuse occurs!! Things have gotten better and I put on a good front but I still rarely leave my house and take forever to trust people.

I am lucky enough to be in two really wonderful relationships by loving and supportive people, but am still constantly triggered by random shit I don’t expect all the time in ways that ruin my whole day. It’s hard and it sucks!
