My grandma had sundowning syndrome the last few years of her life too—absolutely lovely lady, also was not a super competent decision maker during that time! And she wasn’t even a war criminal!!

Like it was actually really scary and sad! I have zero sympathy for Biden but if he wasn’t evil I’d say it was actually pretty fucked up to put him in that position for his welfare alone!!

my grandmother has dementia and psychosis and is still way more on the ball than a lot of supposedly mentally stable people I know about 50% of the time. I still wouldn’t want her running for office! Hell, I wouldn’t want *me* running for office. Some jobs need a person who’s sane 100% of the time!
