Also, if you’re a year into dating a person monogamously and you decide you want to be poly, you either have to renegotiate the relationship with that person if they are into it or break up if they’re not! That’s just life I fear!!

My relationship is on the cusp of getting very poly after 0% of it!! and thats daunting and exciting and idk how it works or how/if it fits, but, y'know, worst case my options are divorce now or divorce later so why not see it thru?!?
