such a good feeling! having a friend in a couple groupchats with my deadname has been a double edged sword, on the one hand i can rarely go a few hours without seeing it, and on the other hand its absolutely desensitized me

that makes so much sense. i def feel like the more i see my deadname connected to other people's faces/posts/achievements/etc it becomes associated with them instead. like some sort of weird reverse osmosis where particles of the name leave me and attach to them
