Whatever has prevented another 9/11, it's not TSA screening or ID checks or no-fly lists. Reinforced secure cockpit doors are the #1 thing by far. Generally speaking, you are not getting through a cockpit door now even with a crash axe. Ask the ghostly spirits of the Germanwings 9525 flight crew.
