Now I won't sugarcoat things. It's bad. But I just want to remind folks this country has been in dark, fascistic places before. Those times were long, but they weren't forever. More importantly, they inspired action in everyday American citizens.

From where I'm sitting, it looks like SCOTUS is trying to revive the Lochner era (1897-1937) when court doctrine struck down most attempts to regulate the economy. Just note that this coincides to a time when the labor movement had its fastest and most militant growth.
