I watched Sound of Metal last night about a drummer going deaf. Loved it, even though it was heartbreaking. I'm still thinking about the film. Best Riz Ahmed performance I've seen (he was also very good in The Night Of).

I'm not a very experienced player of platformers. I did finish (and love) Hollow Knight, which was rather difficult at times. But I've been playing Dead Cells for a total of 20 hours now and I don't seem to be making any progress? I think I simply suck at this game.

Good grief. I've rated everything I watch on IMDb for so many years that I've apparently reached a point where I feel "if I haven't rated it on IMDb, did I even watch it?" There's a Max documentary that isn't listed on IMDb and I'm hesitant to watch it for that reason. 🤦♂️

I watched the first two episodes of This Is Us and I love it. What a warm, funny and heartwarming show (so far). Good to see people just being nice and kind to each other for a change. Great soundtrack, too.

Did anyone else watch The Adventures of Pete & Pete in the 90s? It was so quirky and original that I think I might enjoy it even as an adult. The soundtrack still rocks. The show can't be streamed anywhere unfortunately.

There's apparently a new tick here because of climate change, that can give you Crimean–Congo hemorrhagic fever. Add to that Lyme disease, tick-borne encephalitis, constant mosquito bites, horseflies that cut your skin and feed on your blood, bird mites, bees, wasps and bugs in general everywhere.

Because of my right shoulder. It started over a year ago and it has gotten progressively worse. I can't even do certain things with my right arm anymore. I think it's because of doing repetitive things in a bad way.

I remember the Swedish wedding! Cities are virtually free of mosquitos but as soon as you enter the countryside, they're everywhere. 🦟 Apparently you can get reduced reactions after long exposure. The body builds up a resilience. I think I have that. Doesn't even itch. Just an annoying sting.
