I just experienced this exact scenario with my cellphone bill. I have been on auto pay for over 10 years, and just this past month I was notified that I had a past due bill. And I had to jump through the same hoops to try and pay it.

I had a few of these McDonald's "Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown" glasses growing up. You had to hand wash them; no dishwasher, otherwise the paint would get destroyed. Those fast-food glasses were the best.

I had a good friend I grew up with, we sort of grew up poor. He became somewhat successful in his 30's, at one point he bought a few houses in Philly, and turned them into retail properties. It took me a minute, but I figured it out. He and I lost contact with each other.
