Good question. In our case, we used the translate page feature on our Safari desktop web browser (see below). That's on the far right side of the address bar. We just checked and a similar feature is available on the iPhone. If you're using Android, perhaps somebody familiar with that can comment?

Correct on both counts. Bach's article, which appeared in FLYING Magazine many years ago, is a classic and well worth tracking down if you can. The line we recall was something along the lines of "controls like the fingers and feathers of your soul." Aviation writing doesn't come any better.
