I cared more about watching the slaver choke to death than I did about the actual stakes of the overall story. Which means they had something that worked, at least. Otherwise this feels like second-screen material.

This makes it sound like a rushed, but otherwise faithful, adaptation lol. Kinda the impression I got from the first season. But at least they got some kind of compelling moment in there this time!
