Indeed! I'm in the Grantham & Bourne area which is one of those that had boundaries changed. Our Labour candidate, a lovely compassionate man, is neck & neck (in the polls) with the Tory candidate so for the first time EVER there's a chance to unseat them! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Have managed to get a proxy vote sorted & a neighbour chum has promised to vote for me. (well he threatened to use the vote for the Minster Raving Loony party -as long as it's not Reform I told him all good! 😅) TBH I feel happier doing that than depending on getting a late postal ballot back.

Eeeeek nothing arrived, bloody council helpline constantly busy (apparently inundated with postal vote requests!)! Going to try & get a proxy vote form done tomorrow as deadline for that is 5pm, & I have a friend I trust to do it for me. *breathe breathe*

Yep I will in the morning, I was told by someone else that they were sending out a second wave today so 🤞🏼 I SO wanted to be home for the GE, I'd just booked a week's work away when they announced the 4th July, hence having to do a postal vote. I'll be sitting on my own with a bottle of fizz!!
