feels weird that these people would make speculative fiction about the government forcing any version of the bible on the country when in real life they want the government to force the bible on country

what i mean by this is that if they did in fact get their way, i don't think the evangelicals are going to be "yay our bible is now law of the land" so much as "wait...why 𝘥𝘪𝘥 the government make the bible the law of land?"
