anyway, maybe that staffer was just havin a bad night, and maybe there was already consequence for the individuals behind the scenes that we don't know about. i know majority of con staff is overworked, underappreciated and care a TON about making the con amazing, so thanks y'all!!
twitter.com/Superb__Pedr... In this tweet, the cosplayer that was holding the weapon says it was clearly marked but the quality of the video makes it impossible to see. And I agree with them, there are WAY more important things to be mad about than this. twitter.com/hl_hgruntmdl...
This is the best take I've seen on todays Main Character.
Just like, chill your beans all, give the busy con staff a while to sort their response out properly.
I still hope FWA staff addresses this. I know the con was big and busy— I mean, there was a 50% increase in attendance since last year! but this is a genuinely scary and dangerous thing to allow.
all it takes is one idiot with a REAL g*n who decides to play hero………
This might be a controversial opinion, but if your staff are constantly overworked and underappreciated, and they're volunteers, then you might want to think about changing how you do things as an organisation.
I hear this excuse all the time, as though just volunteering gives you free reign.
