Why don't #ffxiv Black Mages just put the ley lines on their shoes or something? Didn't Full Metal Alchemist already solve this problem?

Also, it would be kinda funny if Pictomancer had like a .1% chance when loading a canvas that it failed and youd have to cast 'Reload Drivers' first.

Why is the 'nerd' in any role in a romance/slice of life always a bishounen with half of a character flaw? I think I maybe remember one anime that didn't do this and they still went out of their way to make him unlikable comedy relief fodder.

I always want to go back and fix my 'building blocks'. Character design, skill, concepts, etc. But you're never actually -building- if you keep going back to fix things that will always seem old and broken over time. While your skill and perception advance, your work stays in the past.

Well, I need to internalize that I'm not going to get the results I want by giving up or being sad that I don't have them yet. That's just going to guarantee that I'll never get them. I may never get what I want, but if I keep trying and doing my own thing, I might get/be something even better.

I've been whinging over Elden Ring since I got a computer able to run it, and I keep moving goalposts back about when I'll actually sit down and give it a fair chance. Just worried about my own skill and having proof that I suck, otherwise just playing the same stuff or being bored or frustrated.

The one thing I dislike about Eureka, is that if I wear the caster cloak, my character can't wear glasses, since it's one of those archaic head slot + chest slot type things. :\ #ffxiv

That being said, the current thing that is helping me is a simple phrase "Done is better than perfect." Rewiring your thought process after years of *flailing arm motions* ...this... takes time.

No matter what I do, I always get that nagging guilt of "You could have done this better." no matter how much effort I put in. I'm guessing that in a more positive light people would describe that as 'striving for perfection'. I should find a way to trick myself into turning that into motivation.

Racing stripe vs Skunk stripe Are skunks inherently fast because they have a stripe (or two?) Are skunks with two stripes faster than one-stripe skunks? Are spotted skunks slow because they don't have a stripe? Are cars less cute because they don't have skunk stripes?
