Was that not around that time GB walked out of the band? IG was more friendly with TI. It was them getting smashed in a pub that resulted in IG joining Black Sabbath. IG phoned his manager the next morning and told him "I think I joined Black Sabbath last night"

Yes, that's the one. Somewhere I have the Kerrang article from the time. I listened to Geezer Butler's autobiography on audiobook. It's brilliant. He reads it in a very laconic style, and it's a joy to listen to.
