It's crazy how the world has totally memory-holed this movie. Such gorgeous visuals and a tremendous and amazingly understated performance by Thornton.

It feels like that film is unfairly buried not just underneath the other Coen Brothers movies, but in that year's film roundup, too. No, that film isn't about delivering those ubiquitous pop cultural frames and moments, but it delivers an experience that reverberates. Very solid stuff.
