I have lots of them. Trying to learn BASIC. Trying to recreate a choose your own adventure book with code. Lots and lots and lots of GOTO {line}. I spent hours and hours with this thing, and when I took out the cartridge and turned off the power, I lost everything. It was UHF'd to my cabinet TV.

Go for it! Maybe they need someone who understands those needs better, or maybe your community needs an inclusive swim instructor who has a better understanding of the need for accommodations. When my son was little, I would have loved for a swim class to advertise classes for autistic kids.

Yeah, I don't trust my phone on that 3M tape on the back of the mount that came with the bike, and I haven't been able to find a case with a twist lock for my phone, but I'll eventually get a computer for that mount anyway. I have my mirror & phone mount far left on the handlebar due to taper.

I have some lumos fireflies for head/tail lights and turn signals, but I don't have room on the front to put them anywhere. So I just use them in the rear mounted under the seat.

Is this the one Velotric sells for it? If not, that's probably why. I'm sure they have some proprietary rack that fits their config. The only thing I don't like about it is the tapered handlebar that's pretty fat in the center. All of my devices and mods are pushed all the way out on the bar.

For the most part, I think we have that here. There's been "some" drama here and there that I've seen from the edges, but it tends to blow up quickly and the shitty people move along somewhere else. It is infinitely more positive than the bad place tho, so the occasional drama is tolerable (for me).

Yeah, with first past the post, a leftist party would just siphon votes from any Dem candidate, and end up Nadering every ballot they were on, allowing Republicans to win seats with as little as 34% of the vote. Primarying from the left is a safer play anywhere FPTP is in effect.

At least people would have a choice. The incumbent (porn lady) has run unopposed since before we moved here in 2019, so maybe not. However, the area we live in has been getting more progressive, and there are a lot of community events that make it seem like there are at least mostly moderates here.

Our state rep race seems to be between a lady who proposed a "ban in porn" or "ID to access the internet" bill, and a lady who says the other lady isn't conservative enough and is a fake Republican. One of those two ladies will be uncontested on the ballot.

I live in a red area, and I vote when there is a Dem on the ballot. I will never vote for a Republican, so if there is a race with anyone else on it, I vote for them. But, I live in Tennessee, so we have a lot of uncontested races.

I'm with you, for sure. As former military, I believe that's where the leadership is. But, it would be reassuring to hear them vocally and forcefully say so. This isn't something you want to have to wait until the line's crossed for the entire chain of command to say. It's already necessary.

I'd like to see the entire slate of general officers come out strongly that the military cannot and will not violate their principles, regardless of who the CIC is, or what the Supreme Court has said. They need to draw a line in the sand, like yesterday.

Maybe to you it's insulting, but I served alongside some soldiers that would probably have followed the order, especially if the officer corps wavered and hadn't been clear long, long before the order was given.

What is an unlawful order now? I ask as a former infantryman (enlisted, E-4). I'm curious how the military clarifies its definitions of unlawful orders, now that there is no such thing for the President. Does he give an order, an officer refuses and they're field demoted until someone complies?
