9 justices is good for making decisions though. I'd like to see a court of 27 justices with 9 randomly selected to hear each case. Make it unpredictable who will rule means each justice will have less power = less opportunities for corruption

I'd be down with that. We're already in a "justice roulette" phase where petitioners (mostly the GOP but I know some left groups do it too) try their luck on the same issues over and over. Seemed like a new bigoted cake shop popped up every week to fight LGBT rights back in the Trump era.
