You Are The Apocalypse (finley-jinley.itch.io/you-are-the-...) is a solo RPG about ending the world, based on Anamnesis by @goblinmixtape.bsky.social
- The use of tarot + themes of discovery were super inspiring, coupled with my very own queer rage makes this game a project I hope to continue!

Had a fucking blast running a We Deal in Lead one-shot for some friends today. Kept it extremely simple — two gunslingers visit an abandoned town to hunt an order member who had been turned — and it was just the right balance of silliness and horror.

Awesome! Don't worry too much about getting the rules exactly right, especially for a one-shot and your first time running it. Just focus on having fun, you and the players! I like to lean into accents for memorable NPCs and set up interesting situations for the players to interact with. Good luck!

I tried out Affinity as a replacement for InDesign but couldn't get away with it; my workflow is too tied into Adobe now, for better or worse. InDesign does everything I need, especially for pre-press

If I waited for perfect inspiration I'd never write anything. Bang your head against different ideas until something halfway decent coalesces and go from there.

In a Violent Nature was exactly what I was hoping for, an arthouse take on Friday the 13th. Great use of sound with some excellent gore but knows where to draw the line. Highly recommended!

Rolling the dice one more time on getting some Nigerian takeaway. I've tried at least a dozen times over the past 10 years to take delivery of West African food in Leeds, Birmingham, and London. All attempts have thus far failed. Fingers crossed, London!

Special delivery from @byodinsbeardrpg.com, I'm really glad I finally got my own Runecairn! Book and zine look great (and I'm becoming really picky in this regard, so I'm not throwing these words lightly), and I'm super excited for 1 player / 1 GM play with my kid

Little haul from the two hours I had on the last day of UKGE to actually do some shopping. Chaosium needs no intro but shoutout to @byodinsbeardrpg.com for making those physical Runecairn books look so good. Also I got a bunch of minis I probably won’t even have time to paint lol
