Goats are fine eating. Dogs our are friends, they helped us build civilization, eating them is an insult to all that I think. We should eat cats because they'd eat us but as is typical of that relationship they're always on top for reasons no one can explain.

If I gotta choose starving and eating dog, as someone who been through forced starvation, roll over Beethoven imma make a pie. Many animals played a part in building civ. For food, prevention, yada yada, and historically we killed wolves and coyotes for really no reason other than ignorance.

Dogs are predators, and generally you don't eat those if you can help it. Also we consider them to be family, which is why WE don't eat them.

tbf cows did a ton to help build civ as did goats and cats. heck without cats we all die of plague 40 years into each startup civ
