I want Trump out of politics at all costs because he’s dangerous. I’m expressing an opinion I’ve had for a while. I haven’t put it out there as a theory because I want Biden to win, but I’m afraid he won’t. I just wish they’d picked someone else. I really hope I’m wrong.

I’m not American so have no skin in the game but the way he’s walking, standing and talking as well as smiling are hugely reminiscent of the way my dad was when he had Parkinson’s. I think Biden standing was a mistake. You need to stop Trump however you can.

Honestly if I’d been in charge of the Tory campaign (gods forbid) I’d have persuaded Boris to stand in Clacton on the basis that people who’d vote for Nige would vote for him and there’s a big chance it would split the vote. He didn’t win by much and it’s worth it to keep him out

No. You don’t ask him, you tell him as a courtesy because he’s the head of state, but he can’t stop you resigning. And he asks who you want as your successor. That’s why it’s a democracy unlike USA where some batshit incumbent incites crowds to riot to overturn an election result he doesn’t like.

What makes you think I find this funny? My income has plummeted I’ve lost the equivalent of £40,000 in pension. Imagine having given notice of retirement to your employer and then finding out you have to work for another 6 YEARS for a pension. Try finding work as a 60 year old. It’s hopeless.

I didn’t say every one should suffer. What I said is the French outrage is laughable to us who have been completely screwed over by pension reform. Imagine your pension being delayed by 6 years? And then not being told it would be delayed? For most women it’s 7 years.

Over on the UK we’re crying with laughter at the retirement reform and the outrage. Our retirement age has jumped up to 67 and will go higher and the French are moaning about 64? Us WASPIs are seething at having our pension changed from 60 to 66. The French have it easy
