I feel like Soren comes out a little more when I feel defensive or upset, like a protective big brother and I have to reel him in a bit when dealing with an unpleasant situation and remind him things are okay

I genuinely did not know how much it would help me to put on a piece of equipment and look into a virtual mirror to see myself as an androgynous dragon (hopefully someday soon, a bird). VR has helped me in a lot of ways and I'm thankful to the folks I know for their patience with me 🩵

I'm very socially awkward and it's hard for me to make new friends but the more time I've spent in VR lately the better I've felt? I've been struggling with feeling lonely without stomping all over my needs. My social battery is often low and VR helps with that + my gender dysphoria.
