It wouldn't come out quickly either, since this new ruling means investigation official actions could be considered a criminal act and anyone acting against the president had better be really careful about what questions they ask and to whom.

Also, saying the 'hypothetical scenario' that a leader may use their powers to further their own ends while ruling on a case where a leader used their powers to further their own ends and coming to the conclusion that such a thing could never happen seems a little disingenuous too.

Luckily, the Court has just declared that it's entirely legal for the sitting president to have them all removed from office without justification. It would be part of their official duties, after all.
